CfP: 7th Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Conference on ‚Organizing Inclusion: Beyond Privileges and Discrimination‘

Die Deadline für Einreichungen zur 7th Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) International Conference von 8-10 Juni 2014 an der Technische Universität München ist der 15. Januar 2014. Diesjähriges Konferenzthema ist „Organizing Inclusion: Beyond Privileges and Discrimination“. Aus dem CfP  (PDF):

The EDI Conference seeks to provide an international, inter- and transdisciplinary platform for the exchange of ideas in the field of equality, diversity and inclusion in the world of work. The conference welcomes participation by academics, policy makers, and practitioners. We invite academic papers which make empirical, theoretical or methodological contributions, to be presented in academic streams, as well as experiences of policy makers and practitioners, which can be presented in (pre-conference) workshops or other formats (e.g. round table discussions) as well as – if the stream permits – in the relevant streams.

Es ist die Einreichung von Developmental (3.000-5.000 Wörter) und von Full Papers (bis zu 10.000 Wörter) möglich, in manchen Streams ist auch das Einreichen von Extended Abstracts möglich.

Der zeitliche Fahrplan bis zur Konferenz sieht wie folgt aus:

  • Full papers (first versions): January 15, 2014. Papers will be subjected to peer review organized by stream chairs with at least two referees for each paper.
  • Deadline for 1st review: February 28, 2014 (acceptance, acceptance with revisions following developmental feedback, rejection)
  • Deadline for revised papers: April 15, 2014.
  • Final acceptance decision, best paper nominations and submission of best papers to the relevant associated journal (as agreed by submitter): May 1, 2014.
  • The review process of the best papers by partner journals remains under the complete supervision of the respective journals’ chief-editors and is independent from the conference dates.
